At Roman Austin Personal Injury Lawyers, we are always looking for ways to get involved with our local community. From participating in charity events to volunteering in nonprofit organizations, our firm constantly strives to support those in need. We are excited to partner with Rob Ditro and The Backpack Lady Project.
About The Backpack Lady Project
The Backpack Lady Project is a local nonprofit based in Dunedin. It sends backpacks filled with supplies to students at schools across Pinellas County. Since the cost of going back to school can put some families under financial strain, this organization provides necessary supplies so students can go to school without having to pay for essentials. This nonprofit was started by Rob Ditro in honor of his late mother Phyllis, the original “Backpack Lady,” who anonymously filled backpacks and gave them to children as they prepared for the school year. The organization now gives hundreds of backpacks to students each year.
How Can You Get Involved?
Our firm has teamed up with Rob Ditro and The Backpack Lady Project. We are volunteering our offices to use as drop-off locations for this worthy cause. Our goal is to provide 50 backpacks before August 4.
If you would like to get involved, please send donations to our office located at:
2360 Congress Avenue
Clearwater, FL 33763
Thank you in advance for helping us meet our goal, and for supporting this wonderful organization! We believe a solid education is a foundation for a brighter future. Our team is honored to give back to students and families in our local community.
