A cyclist is a neighbor, a parent, a friend, a coworker, someone whose life extends far beyond the bike. On Saturday, November 7, 2026, Roman Austin Car Accident and Personal Injury Lawyers invites the Tampa Bay community to put that idea into action at the Share the Road Ride in downtown St. Petersburg.
Hosted through Roman Austin’s Not Just A Cyclist campaign, the free event brings riders together around a shared goal: safer, more respect on roads between cyclists and drivers. The morning includes 25- and 50-mile group rides, followed by a gathering at Green Bench Brewing Co. with food, drinks, music, and a bike build competition.

- When: Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
- Where: Green Bench Brewing Co., downtown St. Petersburg, Florida

- Ride options: 25 miles or 50 miles, with multiple pace groups

The 25-mile ride lists pace groups of 16, 18, 20, and 22 mph. The 50-mile ride lists groups of 18, 20–22, and 23–24+ mph. Review the pace options when registering and choose the group that fits your riding experience.
The event opens with remarks at 8:00 a.m., and the ride starts rolling out at 8:30 a.m. At 11:00 a.m., riders and community members can gather at Green Bench Brewing Co. for food, drinks, and music. The bike build competition begins at 11:30 a.m., and the event concludes at 12:30 p.m.
During the competition, teams of four will build youth bicycles for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Tampa Bay. Team registration is separate from the free ride registration, and the bike build entry fee supports local children. Learn about the bike build and register a team.

Roman Austin founded Not Just A Cyclist to encourage awareness between cyclists and drivers and promote responsible road sharing. The campaign brings together education, advocacy, and community events to help prevent injuries and make Tampa Bay roads safer for everyone.
For campaign founder John Austin, trial attorney with Roman Austin and avid cyclist, the message is personal. “Not just a cyclist” is a reminder to see the person riding the bike and to recognize that everyone who uses the road has a part to play in making it safer.
The Share the Road Ride gives the Tampa Bay cycling community a chance to ride together and carry that message. Cyclists who want to stay involved can also learn about the campaign’s ambassador pledge, which calls for following traffic laws, respecting other road users, and advocating for cycling safety.
