The Full Story

I've been a cyclist, seriously, for about 9 years now. I started doing it to improve my health, and I just fell in love with it.

The accident happened the day before Thanksgiving in 2021. I was riding east on the four-lane road, and the lady decided to turn in front of me. I ended up running into her, flying over the hood, and landing in front of the car.

The front wheel was totally crumpled. It was totaled. There was frame damage to the bike where a cycling friend who manages a bike shop basically said this bike is not rideable: my left knee, my left elbow, and my shoulder torn ligaments. My biggest fear was that I wasn't going to be able to ride my bike again. I couldn't imagine my life without it.

When I realized I need a higher attorney it was when I got home I logged my ride on the internet and a fellow cycling friend mentioned Roman Austin.

That first phone call, when I talked to the paralegal, she walked me through everything. They explained everything that was going on, how long it would take, what needed to be done, and any questions I had; they answered them thoroughly. They've got me to the proper physicians and MRIs. Whatever services I need, everything I needed to know.

My favorite part of working with the team was that they were fellow cyclists. I felt more comfortable that they understood the cycling culture. After my case was over, I do charity rides a couple of times a year where I raise money, and they have donated money to my charities. And I'm very fortunate to have met these people.
