Client Name: Frank L.

Case Type: Motorcycle Accident

The Full Story

Frank L.: It was a nice day. It was Christmas week. I took a short motorcycle ride, and I spent the afternoon in Safety Harbor. I'm going down the highway, and this guy takes a left and turns in front of me.

[911 call audio]

Dispatcher: Is this a police, fire, or medical emergency?

Caller: We need an ambulance right away. A motorcycle has been hit by a truck.

Frank L.: Witnesses say I was in the air 15 feet, landed on the back of a truck, woke up in the hospital with broken ribs, broken hand, collarbone, back issues, traumatic brain injury. Alone, confused, and in pain.

And not having family or friends around, I was dealing with this all by myself. I was most afraid of the hospital bills that were mounting. I was in intensive care for, I think it was five days, and then all of the other orthopedic surgeons I had to see, the back procedures I had to have, the shoulder surgery I had to have. And dealing with the mental focus of the traumatic brain injury and wondering if I'm ever going to get back to what I was.

I heard through a friend of mine, and I came and I spoke with Mark Roman, told him how worried I was, how banged up I was, and he was genuinely concerned. Mark was right there for me, giving me the support I needed, telling me I was going to get through this, giving me encouragement.

Mark doesn't allow the insurance companies to bully you. He goes after them. They were there 24/7. I could call him anytime or text him anytime with questions or concerns, and he always got back with me. He was there for support. The whole office here was great support. Roman Austin was right there for me. I thank God I had him. They really care.
