I was driving south to get to work, and I had come to a stop at Curlew and McMullen-Booth Road. The guy who had hit me from behind was driving a big F-350, and he was towing a trailer.

He was on his phone. It was really a big crash, and the impact when it happened. I didn't really feel the pain right away.

When I got to work, my manager was like, "You need to go to the doctor now." I was kind of scared and not sure what to do.

There was just a desire to make sure I found somebody I really connected with, and I just wound up really connecting with Mark and John. My gut said that they were the type of people that would really take care of me, and they also just had like a level of attention to detail that the other people didn't really have.

They helped me feel heard. There was not like a weekend phone call or text message or an unnecessary question that I had that John wouldn't call me and re-explain to me. Having somebody willing to talk to you, that's the actual person that's making the decisions on your case, goes a super, super long way.

Very, very rare to have somebody in this profession for the reasons that are to help the people that were injured. Miles Hickman, John Austin, and Mark Roman are all incredible, incredible trial attorneys. I didn't understand that not all personal injury attorneys take cases to trial.

Choosing this firm, it was a hugely beneficial thing because these are in-house trial attorneys.

In my case, it was the difference between my life being changed for the better and being able to pay for the medical care that I need for the injuries that I sustained, or not. I wouldn't have had that ability without working with John Austin, Miles Hickman, and Mark Roman. They are some of the most empathetic, family-oriented people, and completely break the stigma of attorneys.

They've done more than good by me, and it completely changed my life, and I highly doubt I would have gotten the outcome that I had if I didn't work with them

So if you're looking for somebody that's personable, please take the time to meet with them. I don't have enough good things to say about them.
